Carrie Mauras PhD

Carrie Mauras PhD is a clinical psychologist with expertise in developmental disorders of childhood. After attending Georgetown University for college and earning her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Clark University, Dr. Mauras trained at several Harvard-affiliated hospitals. Dr. Mauras was on the faculty at Boston Children’s Hospital for 10 years, serving as the training director of the psychology postdoctoral fellowship program. She also supervised and taught numerous medical fellows, medical residents, and medical students.

Dr. Mauras continues to teach physicians locally and nationally about best practices in caring for families affected by developmental differences. As a co-founder of Touchstone, Dr. Mauras provides expert diagnostic evaluation and treatment — always in partnership with parents and caregivers. Committed to family-centered care, Dr. Mauras enjoys working closely with parents to optimize children’s outcomes.
